Frequently asked questions

Everything your office needs to know about NOTARY AI — before and after you subscribe.

What exactly is NOTARY AI?

An AI assistant that works on your office’s own WhatsApp number and talks with your customers around the clock: it understands the customer’s request in their own words, identifies the right notarial transaction, explains the fee and duration as you set them, and books an appointment in your office’s real schedule.

The customer needs no new app, link or account — they simply message your number on WhatsApp as usual.

How does the system answer accurately about my office’s transactions and fees?

The assistant relies on two sources and invents nothing:

  • The national transaction database — 193 notarial transaction types with their official names and descriptions, used to identify exactly what the customer needs.
  • Your office catalogue — the services you switch on in the “Services and fees” page of your dashboard, with the fees and durations you set. You can edit them at any time, and the change applies immediately.

If the assistant finds no matching transaction, or the request is outside its scope, it does not guess — it alerts your staff to follow up.

Can I step in and reply to a customer myself?

Yes. In the “Conversations” page of your dashboard, choose “Take over the conversation” at any time: the assistant pauses and you write directly to the customer’s WhatsApp, and the assistant resumes whenever you choose.

The assistant also alerts your staff automatically when a person needs to step in — for example when transaction details are missing, or a request is outside its service.

Which languages does the assistant speak with my customers?

It serves your customers in 13 languages and dialects, and replies to each customer in the language they wrote in: Modern Standard Arabic, Bahraini dialect, English (formal and simple), Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Filipino, French, Amharic, Indonesian, Spanish and Persian.

It also understands voice notes from the customer and handles them like text messages.

How long is the free trial?

14 days free, with no credit card and no commitment. You try the service on your office’s real number, and if it doesn’t suit you, you stop and nothing is charged.

Which payment methods are available?

For your office subscription: BenefitPay, a Benefit debit card, or a credit card. The subscription is monthly, and listed prices exclude VAT, which is added where required by law.

For your customers’ transaction fees: on the Professional plan, your customer can pay inside the conversation into your office’s bank account — or choose to pay on arrival. The money goes straight to your office’s account and never passes through NOTARY AI.

How long does it take to connect my office’s WhatsApp number?

The connection itself is quick, but note three things:

  • The number must not currently be in use on the regular WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app — it has to be moved off it first.
  • The number is verified with a code sent to you by text message or call.
  • Your office’s display name is reviewed by Meta, which can take time. We help you choose a name that passes review the first time.

We guide you through every step — no technical experience needed.

Is my office’s and my customers’ data safe?

Full separation between offices: each office sees only its own data, and no office can view another office’s data — this is enforced by the system itself, not just a setting.

Permissions inside your office: the notary account sees everything, and staff accounts are limited to conversations and appointments.

Your customers’ documents: they are kept with us in private storage and deleted automatically two years after we receive them.

If you cancel: your data is kept for six months (fully restored if you return within that time), then deleted permanently.

Your office’s data and your customers’ conversations are not used to train AI models.

Can I cancel or change my plan at any time?

Yes — from your dashboard, with no setup fees and no long-term commitment. Upgrades and downgrades take effect from the next billing cycle.

Does the assistant replace the notary?

No. NOTARY AI is a support tool for the office in reception, transaction identification and booking — it gives no legal advice and does not act on the notary’s behalf in notarising transactions. The final form and requirements of any transaction remain for the notary to decide and confirm at completion.
